My advice, as a former high school goth, would be not to go "full-on" goth. Take pieces from punk and goth fashion (and others) and mix them together to make a more distinctive style. Being truly individual means avoiding becoming a goth stereotype, dressing "differently" in the same way thousands of others just your age dress "differently." Find pieces you like and wear them in a way you personally think is cool looking.
