Did anyone else see Haley as a reinvented Janis Joplin?

I Dont watch Idol or stuff like that. but if she sounds like janis & has a stage presence. then dont worry she will be around for a long time. Yeah & the rose was a great movie as well. Bette Middler was awsome in that role
